“Candle, Sword, and Fan”
A Fringe Festival Show! Sept. 14th & 21st. 7:30-8:30 pm
The Plastic Club - 247 S. Camac St., Phila.
Candle, Sword, Fan is part of the 2019 Philadelphia Fringe Festival. It is a theatrical show that intertwines dance and art with archetypal themes of youth, adult, and elder - with a Jungian slant. Although these phases are associated with chronological age, we go through these cycles all through our lives, and in fact can be a great source of growth and creativity.
The dances are of a fusion style incorporating various balancing props. Between dances, the audience will get to view some of The Plastic Club artists and models in action! The Plastic Club is one of the oldest artists clubs in America.
