About the Event
This 1 and 1/2 hour worlshop is designed for people with no experience in Tai Chi. However, if you have done Tai Chi, but are a bit rusty and want a gentle re-entry into the practice, this will be perfect for you too.
The workshop will include:
Warm up excercises specifically design for doing Tai Chi
Introduction to breathing (you know how to breath of course (!), but this practice encourages a "belly" type of breathing)
Overview of the 10 Yang Tai Chi form
Detailed break down of beginning Tai Chi steps in the 10 Yang form
Ending "Flowing with Tai Chi", a very relaxed sequenced set of moves intended to give you a taste of "FLOW"
We will do an overview of 10 Yang Tai Chi form, however it is not possible to learn an entire set form in one class. But we will break down in detail, the beginning moves of the 10 Yang form.
So what will you gain by taking this workshop? First of all you will leave both relaxed and energized! You will get an inkling of what Tai Chi is and maybe this will be your initiation into the marvelous, magical, yes mysterious world of TAI CHI !

ABOUT IN PERSON STUDIO COVID 19 PROTOCOL
The Concierge Ballroom Studio is a spacious 1,950 square foot space, with high ceilings, mirrors,and a newly installed HVAC system The studio limits the number of students to 8, to ensure proper social distancing.
When you register for the workshop you will be sent a confirming email with links to two waivers, one regarding the studio and the other regarding COVID 19 Protocol at the studio.
***These waivers must be completed before coming to the workshop. ***
Upon arrival at the studio, your temperature will be taken and a short series of questions regarding COVID 19 protocol will be asked. Your hands will be sanitized (sprayed). Masks are required at all times (masks are also availble at the studio). Please bring your own water bottle.
